McCarthy Announces Move To Censure Waters Amid GOPers’ Faux Outrage | Talking Points Memo

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart News on Monday that he plans to introduce a resolution to censure Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA,) following his threat to take action against the House Financial Services chair over her remarks urging protesters against police brutality to “get more confrontational.”

That’s hilarious coming from a schmuck who wouldn’t vote to impeach the insurrection president.

McCarthy and his Q caucus are mad at a strong black woman who speaks her mind. Good lord, doesn’t he have more important things to do -Matt Gaetz anyone? This move to censure Rep. Waters will be swatted down fast. Republicans waste way too much time and energy on pointless stuff.

…Republicans have failed to acknowledge that they spent months peddling former President Trump’s baseless claims of widespread election fraud…

How many of these dipshits still won’t say Joe Biden won the election?
Don’t their attempts to illegitimize his election have plausibly violent repercussions?
Oh, wait, they already have.

"On 1/6 in DC, Donald J Trump urged his supporters to break the law by marching on Congress. He also urged them to fight to save their country. Thus he incited violence. When the violence occurred he acted only belatedly to rein it in. Increased unrest had already occurred due to Trump’s phony claims as to how he lost the election and he was intentionally pouring fuel on the fire,” McCarthy said never.

So there is no reason that we should listen to Q’evin now.

I see that Republicans still can’t deal with infrastructure, global warming, income inequality, the pandemic or democracy. All the world’s troubles must wait till conservatives feel they are being respected.

LOL. The Republicans have settled for a tea bag left sitting on the counter for a week.

Why bother trying to make them feel respected? They would know we were faking it.

Curfews are something which should be broadly illegal to implement. Recipe for a bad outcome when the cops get to decide what time they start cracking heads open, regardless of whether people are being peaceful or not.
