House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in an interview with right-wing outlet Breitbart News doubled down on his threat to remove Democrats from their committee seats if he becomes House speaker following the midterm elections.

It will be interesting (and terrifying) to observe the jockeying for position here. There is no ideological right far enough for the current iteration of the GQP to go. Their orcs want fascism plain and simple. McCarthy is simply telling them what they want to hear.
Given that Cruz is also threatening to have Biden impeached for the crime of being a Democrat, it’s long past time we invoke the 14th Amendment, Section 3, and ban these skum bags from holding office ever again.
