Massive Vote Tallying Issues Bog Down Iowa Caucuses

Bernie had 4 years to get this right and broaden his message to appeal to people who didn’t support him in 2016 and also to really focus a critique of Trumpism. Apart from some good efforts to stop ACA repeal in the Senate, he hasn’t done the job and his presence is disrupting the Dems ability to focus on Trump.

We are so getting enslaved by our robot masters. Can’t even do addition.

Stupid idea to collect 3 totals and expect them to equal.

Pain in his groin?
Upset stomach?

Shades of 2016. The Democrats haven’t even gotten to the main campaign yet and their IT is messed up. Too bad it’s not a Russian hack.

Thank the 53 Republicans who think that Russkie hacking of our elections is just fine.

Hey, I have an idea: simultaneous runoff voting! And would anybody think about Iowa without these inconsequential caucuses?

Really? I mean, really? This is really quite unbelievable and maybe next year Iowa won’t be in this position again.

Eh. I’m planning on forgetting about this in about 20 minutes.

Remains to be seen. Anecdotally likely a good night not a great one…

Also, seems to be the case.

Yep, but like Electoral College… for now the rules we live by.

Yep.

Yep.

If it turns out she edges Joe and is a closer 3rd than guessed at thus far. A 2nd place on NH could mean something…

In the end I think any momentum for the winners of last night will be muted by the Snafu’s.

I don’t think the same can be said for the losers. This hurts Joe, and if NH and NV are similar for him, I’m less sure that his SC firewall holds…

Thanks, but the US doesn’t learn from foreign examples - however valuable the lessons might be

There could be a silver lining, IA results could start rolling in and stomp on the SOTU coverage…

This, is a litmus. Literally.
Does his presence make the outcome Red or Blue?

Oh I dunno. I’m hoping for an especially unhinged performance by Trump, something written by Stephen Miller but where he goes off on tangents anyway. I want to see the GOP give him standing ovations for bringing back asbestos and jailing John Bolton.

UHH… I think you’re only half right. The Republican party will gladly learn from Putin how to ensure wins.
