Re: FEMA guy.
So the First Felon announces he’s getting rid of FEMA this year, because it’s so much more “efficient” – that is, satisfying to his ego – to just make governors come to him and beg and maybe offer him stuff. Then funding is slashed, the responsibilities of FEMA guy are reduced, he’s not allowed to attend conferences or speak to groups anymore.
And yet, they’re surprised when he goes on an extended vacation during peak hurricane (that is, please please PLEASE Mr President Trump!!) season? And then resigns?

Trump’s Epstein flip seems pretty clear to me. Republicans who vote against acquiring the E-files risk a loss of support from their E-crazed base. So of course they should vote for the DOJ to release them, as innoculation against being soft on pedos. Perhaps that will keep the House, alongside egregious gerrymandering.
There are still firewalls to breach. The Senate may not go for it; it would only take, what, 41 Senators to filibuster the release? Anyway, Trump would veto it if it passed the Senate; or more likely, there is a select group of Trumpista acolytes combing through the E-files as we speak, removing references to Trump & Republicans, and marking enemies with highlighter. “Release the highlighteds” will be the tone of the internal discussions, “and burn the [Trump] pages.”
