QAnon supporter Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who was one of several Republicans who refused to wear a mask while House lawmakers sheltered together during the pro-Trump siege at the Capitol last week, insisted on Tuesday that she had nothing to do with the three COVID-19 infections among the lawmakers that have emerged since the lockdown.
Obviously, this person shouldn’t even be elected to judge a county chili cookoff, but as long as she’s there, she’s like the anti-AOC X 100 as far as a target for any sane voter to see the face of today’s GOP and think twice.
Has she actually been tested for COVID? Or any of her maskless colleagues?
Obviously if they tested negative that doesn’t prove anything, but it would be unfortunate and infuriating if only Dems are testing positive after this debacle. We don’t need more idiots making arguments like this - or, alternatively, claiming “see, masks don’t work - only the people who wore masks got COVID!”
Some Republicans are fully aware of how ludicrous claims like “healthy people don’t spread COVID” are, but make them anyway because they’re so deeply cynical.
This is what happens when you get untreated syphilis from the carpet of your DoubleTree hotel room that migrates to your brain from being an attention whore doing Crossfit on Twitter because “everything is closed”.
