Mark Meadows Is Already Having A Rough Week. And It’s Only Monday. | Talking Points Memo

White House chief of staff Mark Meadows is at the center of mounting frustration among White House and Trump campaign staffers in light of his recent remarks that have further bungled the administration’s disastrous response to the COVID-19 pandemic that has killed more than 225,000 Americans thus far.

Only someone stupid enough to take the job of DJT chief-of-staff could be as stupid as Mark Meadows.

Bad week already Mark?

He should be polishing his resume. There will be a lot of competition for Fox talking head slots, the conservative think tanks will be swamped, and there is the coming collective amnesia about all things Trump. Maybe he could wash dishes, mow lawns or teach conversational English in Mongolia?

There is Trump* and only Trump. No one else matters.

“Every time we build some momentum, Meadows f***s it up with an interview,” the adviser told CNN.

Or Trump fucks it up with an interview. Or Kushner fucks it up with an interview. Or Giuliani fucks it up with an interview. I mean, Meadows is an idiot, but the White House is well supplied with tools right now and not one of them is sharp.

Thoughts and prayers, Mark. Thoughts and prayers.

It’s hard to find a lot of sympathy for this dope. Look at all the bodies thrown under the buss and this “best people” was dumb enough to think he was smarter than the lot of them.

Don’t mean to be a d*ck, but “…who has been recently spotted in the West Wing for meetings recently.”??? Somebody’s gotta catch this stuff.

"Whipple told the Post, however, that ‘it’s hard to count the ways Meadows has failed as chief of staff’ since his performance in the position ‘has been an unmitigated disaster’.”

It’s been a dumpster fire, wrapped in a trainwreck, inside a shitshow.

They always must have a fall guy. Got to point fingers at someone for all their own mistakes. Of course, few are more deserving of having the blame heaped upon them than Meadows.

"According to the Post, officials said that Meadows slept near Trump at Walter Reed in an ICU bed "

How cute. I don’t believe Dotard ever had Covid. Just more BS from the BS factory

his diminished standing

I’m sure that Meadows was aware when he took the job that everything his boss touches turns to shit, including his staff.

No biggie, Mark. Tuesday (NEXT Tuesday) will be better.

Trump’s promise to turn his Presidency into a season of the apprentice has not served him well.

The country would have been better served if Trump had just kept all those Generals in place instead of running them out. That’s how crappy the current group is - I’m a liberal saying the country would be better served being run by a bunch of generals Obama pushed out or fired.

Only in the mind of Trump . . . and those stupid enough to work for him.

Only the best people

Every member of the mainstream media who tried to tee up this Maladministration’s supposed ability to do anything beyond plunder the treasury at any point based on staffing decisions as just ONE major sign of the utter shitstorm should be ceaselessly mocked after 11/3.

November 4: Sean Hannity takes over as Chief of Staff. Executive Order firing all civil service officers. Nunes takes over the CIA, Giuliani at FBI, and Mike Flynn recycled into SecDef. Name of Country changed to United States Against Sleepy Joe, and all mail-in ballots are ordered destroyed.

So Meadows doesn’t have to suffer much longer!
