Marianne Williamson Photoshops Herself Into Portrait

It’s no problem for spiritual adviser and author Marianne Williamson that Vogue left her out of a portrait of all of the other five female candidates running for president. She knows how to use photoshop.

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://talkingpointsmemo.com/?p=1233480

I am so tired of individuals whose egos lead them to run for President based on NO true qualifications or experience for the job. Williamson may be a nice lady (with some out-of-the-box ideas on theology) but WHAT makes her think - or her supporters think - she has ANY ability to be President of the friggin’ US? The longer she stays in the race the longer she merely prolongs the inevitable and forces the Democratic Party to give her air time. This is ridiculous

If candidate Moonbeam really wanted to help America she should seek to advise Trump by going on the Morons in the Morning show and spouting all we need is love.

She imagines herself as a member of Congress and makes it so. Her district? U.S.[It’s a miracle].

Well, for one thing: Rump. Although, I would also say with the 2016 GOP race, it’s now some kind of open season as to most anyone who has an ego that is so damaged that running for POTUS is the only way they can feel superior.

Just. Go. Away.

The future of the country is at stake.

I’ll buy your book if that’s what it takes to make you just. go. away.

FFS, you are NOT a member of Congress, which is what the picture represented.

After Vogue published an article that included all five of the female members of Congress who hope to clinch the Democratic primary nomination, Williamson posted a screenshot of the photo on her personal Instagram, calling out the media for excluding her from the article.

Williamson also doesn’t understand that being a member of Congress (whose daily job it is to run the country) isn’t the same as being Joe Blow thinking they can run the United States. Perhaps she should run for local office as others have or is that just too pedestrian for her greatness?

She qualified for the debate.

I’m guessing her point was that Vogue chose that standard deliberately in order to exclude her. Not for any other reason.

That article is not specifically about what the five lawmakers have done in congress but about the difficulties female candidates face in general. I don’t like some of Williamson’s toxic followers, but it’s kinda disappointing that VOGUE excluded her from the picture so deliberately.

So the entire country could see why she should not have been there!

Remember Share a Little Tea with Goldie? (If you weren’t watchingThe Smothers Brother Comedy Hour in 1967-69, you missed this.) At the debate, SO and I were dumbfounded by the resemblance of Marianne Williamson to “Goldie.”

It’s not disappointing at all. She deserves to be excluded because hers is strictly a vanity candidacy. She doesn’t deserve a participation trophy. All she does is make a mockery of this process, which the media is wont to do anyway.

Maybe because they wanted to have an article that would be taken seriously because it was about serious candidates?
