Rudy Giuliani is not above the law, and nor is he “immune to criminal investigation,” Manhattan federal prosecutors said in a late Thursday filing.

It’s taped to all the phones.

Take those devices to Delaware to the guy that cracked Hunter Biden’s laptop.

I’m sure we’ll hear congressional Republicans loudly proclaiming that Giuliani need not worry so long as he has nothing to hide, and standing up for law enforcement.

he asked a judge to give him the right to decide what evidence taken during the execution of search warrants on his home and office last month should be allowed to go to the government.

That’s pretty much every defendant’s dream.

So the investigation isn’t normally conducted by the suspect?

Anyone have any ideas why Joe diGenova is not tied to any of this (yet?)?

As far as I know, it only happens in congressional committees.

(provided that the criminals allow one to be formed in the first place)

So the feds had no trouble with any of Rudy’s devices, but the ones he actually employed IT professionals to setup will take some time.

People, either don’t break the law, or learn some basic IT security.

He may be a lawyer, but he deserves censure and/or disbarment for his multiple violations.

Yeah well, after hearing “so and so is not above the law” for four years and it proving to be rather hollow, one will forgive me if I hear Charlie Brown’s teacher when that phrase is trotted out.

Rudy should just go on Dr. Phil and sink into a despondent crying jag. Then maybe the Feds will relent.

He seems too addled to have formed criminal intent.

Giuliani may not be above the law, but even if he is, we’re going to raise our game until he is under it again.

The document also reveals, contra Giuliani’s attorney Bob Costello, that federal agents seized 11 of the former New York City mayor’s personal phones and computers last month, in addition to seven devices that belonged to Giuliani’s company, Giuliani Partners LLC. Costello had said that only 10 of Giuliani’s devices were taken.

Clearly, the 11th device was Hunter Biden’s laptop.

“The FBI will be attempting to access those devices without a passcode, which may take time,” the filing reads.

I suspect that they can unlock each of those devices merely by pressing one of their butts against it.
