President Trump’s all-out strategy of fighting every investigation — civil, criminal, or congressional — that targeted his finances has been largely successful at keeping his tax returns and other information out of public view and away from any form of scrutiny during his term in office.

The Emerson College poll of likely voters conducted Aug. 30-31 has him at 48% approval versus 47% disapproval. He is a narcissistic golem, but because he operates without concern for law or morality, he is capable of leaving any place he goes a smoldering ruin.

This is like the DOJ’s claim that they would suffer irreversible harm if Judge Sullivan was allowed to question them about their motives in dropping the Flynn prosecution. They keep telling the world they’ve got something to hide.

The Trump Crime Family needs to hear from RICO ASAP!

Has it occurred to the First Family of Crime that they may have to stop committing crimes if he wins another term? Unless they keep a family member in the Oval Office until the end of time (which is the plan, I’m sure), eventually they’ll have to face the crimes for which the statute of limitations has not expired.

Isn’t T rumpp campaigning as the law and order president?

How much effort has he expended thus far in negating the rule of law?

I saw that and it’s concerning but it’s also quite an outlier.

Emerson has been consistently more trump friendly when compared to contemporaneous polls this season.

How is there “harm” if he hasn’t done anything wrong?

Smart judges (non Trump cultists) can see through the obvious stall tactics being thrown about by Trump’s lawyers. The question is whether the panel has them.

I like your use of “golem.” Think: Frankenstein’s monster, but much less intelligent and civilized.

“Donald Trump and family face immediate deportation on January 21, 2021.”

(Oops. Sorry. Fake but wishful thinking news.)

Interesting. Is there a statute of limitations on treason?

When we discover just how deeply in debt trump is to Putin and just how completely trump’s been compromised by Putin, the GOP will jump on this bandwagon and firmly declare,

“So what?”

Hang on to your hats, the next nine weeks are gonna be crazy. Nate fucking with us like this is part of that. He next to never features Emerson. Hell, let’s talk about the Morning Consult poll from 8/28- 8/31 which has trump underwater 20 points at 38-58 (adjusted to 37-59.) There’s a poll for everyone. Horse race noise. VOTE.
