All I was trying to say is, the Dems aren’t perfect but at least they are almost all trying to do what’s right for our country… versus all of the GOP very much not, just for greed and power.

He and Sinema don’t seem to get that their leverage is gone. They’re revealed as GOP-lite and that negotiating with them is a waste of time. What’s more, they’ve revealed that Centrism is well and truly dead.

They don’t seem to have gotten it, but they’re out of the game: Dem Senators will never treat them as anything but obstacles from this day forward.

I know what you meant, but neither Manchin nor Sinema votes with the GOP on anything except keeping the filibuster.

They have some benighted idea that it’s part and parcel of what makes things hum, and of course they’re dead wrong about it.
