And if they can get nine other Republicans to agree to a reauthorization of the VRA, than they can part the Red Sea. (And even if they did, while experts were studying the sea bottom, at least five “justices” of SCOTUS would find new grounds to declare it unconstitutional.)

There are a sizable number of Native American voters in Alaska, mainly Inuits. In parts of the west such as the Dakotas the state legislature has made it rougher for folks in the reservations to exercise the franchise witness the 2018 North Dakota US senate election.
