Dagley will meet his waddle loo.

So… there’s the thing, right? We’re all dunking on this gentleman, and the courts have deigned to notice his anger management issues, but the obvious truth is that he’s severely mentally ill. And, while we tend to view that as a choice, it’s likely not. We’d all be better off if he could be effectively, and humanely, treated.

I read this old piece, by PopeHat/Ken White, just yesterday, though he wrote some years back.

May I suggest, instead, a high colonic with hydrofluoric acid? While not as “strong” an acid as sulfuric, the pain is exquisitely long-lasting, as is the damage.

@brian512 Hah! Just read upthread. I didn’t know this was the afternoon Chemistry Thread. But, hey, I’m in. Although, as a defrocked metallurgist, my input is likely at the 101 level.

I heard that a hydrofluoric enema cures Covid? Just reporting the proposal, not endorsing it.

He learned his lesson!

At least he wasn’t doing something really bad like selling drugs or committing an immigration offense.

You’re probably right on target here. Given my recent diatribes on speculation, I hesitate to say this but his mental state is probably why he lost his plating biz and wanted to sabotage those who got a hold of it in the end, without any (rational) thought to the damage he could really do.

Oh, it’ll cure Covid for sure. And everything else you might have, including that nasty breathin’ and blood-circulatin’ business.

Maybe we can just go down Derek Lowe’s “Things I Won’t Work With” blog posts and see how many of them we can get that Florida retiree to recommend as anti-COVID treatments.

Addendum: Looks like his “In the Pipeline” blog recently had some changes and the old article tags may have fallen off, but if you go to the site and just search for “things I won’t work with”, it looks like all the old favorites, like Dioxygen Difluoride (FOOF) and Hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane still come up.

Obviously, he’s a Weapon of MAGA Destruction.

Not that long. Cardiac arrest as the fluoride ions interfere with heart muscle will kill him in half an hour or less.

I understand he demanded to speak to the manager.

True enough, in sufficient quantity. And not a large one at that. I was thinking back to my own youthful carelessness with HF. Small amount of fairly dilute solution on a fingertip with a torn cuticle. I rinsed it off promptly, but that evening I enjoyed a few hours with the distinct impression a twenty penny spike was being driven into my elbow.

ETA: In case you were wondering what I was doing without gloves on? See “youthful”. They don’t teach one everything at them fancy technical schools.

Sounds even nuttier than Ashli Babbitt, so he’ll be a perfect RWNJ hero.

Looks interesting. Got some stuff to do before it rains, but thanks for the rabbit hole!

Keyboard warning applies. When you go down that rabbit hole, make sure you don’t have a mouthful of beverage while you’re reading some of those.
