Man Arrested After Being Photographed With Confederate Flag In Capitol Riots | Talking Points Memo

Well when you’re know as “that guy” or that “fucking asshole” at every family gathering…

For me, the picture of the MAGA with the confederate flag over his shoulder is the iconic image of this day, rather like the Kent State picture of the young woman bent over the man who was shot.

The picture captures the lawlessness, arrogance, violence, delusion and hypocrisy of the MAGA crowd in a single image. There were quite a few compelling images captured that day, but but I can already tell that this is the one that will come back to me years later.

But Mr. FBI agent, my phone was stolen right before the insurrection. Really, then why didn’t you file a theft report or have the service turned off? UMMMMM.

I blame the lack of strong male role models in the white community. :joy:

The appropriate recourse for this Confederate traitor would be to put him in a Civil war-era POW camp and let him rot from dysentery.

This guy was apparently fairly wealthy and living in a large expensive house. That is all gone now, probably for good for what he himself described as an “indiscretion”. He basically already admitted his involvement.

The unkindest cut of all,

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In yet another rebuke to the disgraced President, the nation’s major manufacturers of spray tan have cut ties with Donald J. Trump.

In a statement by the National Association of Spray Tan Manufacturers, the corporations that have reliably supplied Trump with his unique orange coating said that they would no longer do so.

With this move, the color of Trump’s head once he leaves office faces an uncertain future, experts say.

The statement by the spray-tan corporations was stark in its repudiation of their most loyal customer.

“Since the election, Donald J. Trump’s face has emitted a series of dangerous and malevolent lies,” the statement read. “We no longer want our product sprayed on the surface of that face.”

When I listened I couldn’t understand much of what was said, but someone posted a breakdown that she was directing people to another room, telling them how to get there. Had she been in those rooms before?

Damn, there goes all those high dollar endorsements. Also, I doubt they have a lap pool where he is going.

I’m more interested in carrying forward the spirit of the 14th, sec. 3 applied not just to the traitors, but to their flag.
