Agree. I had to hesitate in even posting the video. But with Trump’s stated intention and threats of the deportation of millions of people, one can only wonder “How is that going to happen?” The cruelty is beyond belief.
Yup. That’s what he says. But I recall the biggest single challenge of his presidency was the pandemic, and his performance was third-rate, shoddy, and bungling. You would have to be a fool to think he could make anything better.
I think some people, including, especially including, intelligent people, can rationalize away just about any bogus notion if their egos and self image demand it. Intelligent people are better at it because they have more innate tools to perform the rationalization.
I had a fellow come through my grocery line on Thursday. MAGA hat, MAGA T-shirt. Had to be in his 80s and not altogether with it. He was accompanied by someone that looked younger than he was.
It’s like that meme that was posted earlier today. If ten people sit at a table and one is declaring himself a Nazi and no one says anything, then there are ten Nazis at the table.
If the Georgia Sec State is calling it out of bounds what authority do these ass hats even have to make these rules?
Is this wish casting? I don’t even know what to think about this except that Georgia is willing to render all the votes moot, please proceed with out us?
I suspect the reality of that is, women will have no rights in the MAGAt brave new world, so no one will have to listen to women complaining, right? By default, they will be happy.
A Twitter data scientist who was set to resign reportedly told CEO Elon Musk what a lot of users are thinking these days: “I hope you’ll declare bankruptcy and let someone else run the company.”
That anecdote and other eye-opening revelations are at the center of the just-released book “Character Limit: How Elon Musk Destroyed Twitter,” by New York Times reporters Kate Conger and Ryan Mac, who take readers inside how Musk has transformed the social network, now called X, into a shambolic mess of bots and extremist hate accounts.
The departing employee was initially pleased that Musk had taken over the company, as flagged by Rolling Stone, but grew increasingly alarmed, especially after Musk shared a deranged and incorrect conspiracy theory about Nancy Pelosi’s husband after a home invader attacked him with a hammer.
“It’s only really like the tenth percentile of the adult population who’d be gullible enough to fall for this,” the data scientist told Musk during a face-to-face meeting.
Third rate is high praise donnie does not deserve.
800,000 people died of covid on his watch. And it does not weigh on his conscience in the least. In fact he was quoted twice with words to the effect of…
‘I take no personal responsibility at all’. They died on his watch while he was in office. And his offer was strong light up the ass and hydroxychloroquine which is a fish tank glass cleaner. He poo poo’ed vaccination and masks. Then he got covid himself and became seriously ill. His life was saved by monoclonal antibody treatment. At tax payer expense.
So “third rate” is high praise I think.
Really? You don’t see the appeal of arguments that “voting is a privilege” or “election security!” or “you have to show photo ID to buy your beer, right?”
Well, good for you! But lots of folks have been and will continue to be fooled.

An emotional attachment to MAGA and refusal to critically think would also do the trick. My brother-in-law is no fool, but Trump says stuff that “makes sense” to him, stuff that my BIL “comes up with on his own”, so, naturally, he and Trump are on the same wavelength, and he doesn’t take the time to seek out counter examples or look for possible inconsistencies or unacceptable consequences beyond his own life.
