while a whopping 72 percent believe that mass shootings are “something we can prevent and stop if we really tried.”
They don’t consistently vote
54 percent say that the U.S. has more mass shootings than many other countries because it has “more availability of guns,”

I kept a .38 loaded with these rounds in the house at one time. From ten feet the two projectiles would have a 12" to 18" spread. Firing off 3-4 rounds at an intruder in quick succession might do the trick, even for a challenged handler of the gun.
