If rethugs want to know about fraud in Medicare and Medicaid they need to talk with Sick Rott (R FL). He knows how it’s done.
ETA. I see @fuashcroft hit the Scott specialty before me.

I am so surprised!
“The low hanging fruit is the DoD, which has failed an audit for the seventh year in a row,” Norman said last week. “Low hanging fruit is the DEI things in it.”
As far as I am aware, at this time neither Don Jr., Eric or Ivanka have their sticky (but well-manicured) fingers in the DoD cookie jar. As such cutting DEI would mean little to no savings.
They can dodge and dissemble but the playbook remains the same: Cut social programs to fund tax cuts for the wealthy, eliminate the Education Department to shift money from free public secular education to fund private religious indoctrination, and undo any protections for immigrants and DEI in public and private lift. Christian nationalism is now the prevailing orthodoxy in our government, where there is no compromise, only utter fealty to Trump and the ‘Jesus loves winners and white men’ gospel.
This guy is a quintessential Republican elected official: get paid handsomely plus gold-plated benefits to do nothing all day but try to screw people over while calling it “work” and complaining about others being lazy. A jerk to the marrow.

Sure you might have to forego that marble countertop, but this way, I only need 2 more donors to make the experiment happen.
In Indiana, MAGA/GOP corruption is the leading cause of Medicaid fraud.
Audits had helped minimize fraud until 2017 and then…
Here’s the story:

It’s like that old joke where the salesman decides to sell a $3 trinket for 50K. His buddy tells him he is insane, no one is going to pay 50 grand for that, and the salesman replies, “Yeah, but I only have to sell one!”
Your check is in the mail.

The question should be when are yous guys gonna crater the stock market so I know when to switch to bond etf’s?
So let’s get all those 70 and 75 and 80 and 90 year old people back to work, stat, and we can save trillions in Social Security. No more free Cadillacs and T-bone steaks for the olds. Get a job, grandma!
And if all those old farts went back to work there would be so many workers the pressure to increase wages to attract workers would go down. Thus increasing profits and shareholder value! Which are the only things that truly matter.
The obvious solution to social Security and Medicare’s problems (?) is to simply remove the caps on payroll taxes, and in a very short time, those safety net items will be self-funding. In fact, that would probably generate enough to fully fund Medicare for All!
The key is that everyone needs to be in the same boat, whether the tide is rising or falling.
Additionally, any oligarch that doesn’t like the change, can simply surrender their assets to the Government before leaving the country, or they can opt out for some good ol’ Western Justice–a tall tree and a short rope.
A lotta people, me for instance, depend on Social Security and Medicare. So do a lot of republican folks. Cutting their income is gonna piss them off
Just sayin’
A lot of MAGA people are on Social Security and Medicare. Wait until they see the cuts, whatever they may be, and they say, “Oh, it’s gonna affect me and not just the brown people?”
They have a rude awakening coming.
MAGA has a two year opportunity to carry out their sick twisted and extremely unpopular agenda and that is what they will try, citizenry be damned.
That is exactly why Trump is trying to beef up his SS detail with the military.
Agreed. Trump ran on making people better off, putting more money in their pocket. It was all hogwash, but it’s very strange to see the GOP now saying, in effect, “We won by promising to give people more money, so now let’s use the power we got by winning to take hundreds of billions of dollars away from tens of millions of voters.” I say strange, not surprising, because the GOP’s strange desire to impose mass poverty is by now an old, old obsession. GW Bush tried it in 2005 and got crushed. And here they go again.
Looks to me like they might be driving the car over the cliff. Fingers crossed. Rooting for injuries. Major injuries.
