The Washington Post editorial board, in a column urging Harris to “go deep on substance” in her policy proposals, notes in passing that Trump “has shown little interest” in doing so. And the Post’s editorial board has show even less interest in calling out Trump for his lack of interest in what the editors insist Harris must do now.
Not just a brazen double standard, but a bizarre failure, or refusal, to see that the key “policy” at stake in this election is how to govern: through constitutional democracy, or through the destruction thereof, and its replacement by an authoritarian dictator who has show himself prolifically to be a vengeful, violence-loving, deranged, and addled narcissist.

He was a feral cat from a feral mom who lived in the alley behind our house. She had 2 kits. About 6-8 weeks after the birth she and one kit were gone. The other I found slinking across the back yard. I think the hawk that stole mom dropped him. He was badly traumatized. But I took him in. His first 10 years were spent hiding under our bed. Slowly, very slowly he was brought out due to friendship with our boss cat. Eventually this feral boy would relax on the bed and tolerate me in the room. Over another 2 years he finally allowed touch and then he discovered massage feels damn good. That was the breakthrough.
