Steve Bannon isn’t President Trump’s only MAGA-universe tie to “We Build The Wall.”
Several other members of President Trump’s circle, including a top official in his administration as well as his own son, embraced the private border-wall gambit, before the White House’s attempts Thursday to distance the President from it.
Donald Trump Jr - Well, it’s a beautiful name, of course. His parents must of been big fans of me. But I don’t know him closely. We might have had coffee at some times.
It’s always the same people trying to find just the right way to screw the system for their benefit. The games may seem to change, but the players rarely do. If you think about it, Trump really hasn’t made any new and lasting ‘friends’/acolytes, with a few exceptions, since he became president. And that’s really hard for a president to do, given his power.
My that advisory board looks like a list of grifting all stars. Not Shillings first go round with fraud either. He took money from Rhode Island for a dubious biz venture. Looking like a pattern with him. May be more dominoes to fall over with this one. Will Betsy be able keep her brother Erik out of jail? Tune in next week to “As the Grifters Turn”.
I don’t think I’ll be able to contain myself if all these people go down. It’s gonna be a mess.
Shilling has a special place in my heart. Hated him even when he was with the Phillies. He worked with others, but he would often call the agency where I worked. Whenever I answered I would always make him say who he was before forwarding the call because it so obviously annoyed the hell out of him.
As everyone is aware, Trumpy lies at the drop of a hat. Now that Bannon has been indicted of course Trumpy is doing to lie and throw him under the bus. This is Trumpy SOP.
So in December 2018, Brian Kolfage, an Iraq War veteran and triple amputee, came up with an unusual idea. He set up a GoFundMe page asking Trump supporters to contribute money themselves to get the wall built. The campaign, which pledged that “100% of your donations” would be given to the federal government for the wall, went massively viral on the right — $20 million in pledges poured in.
