GOP House members who have been agitating to impeach judges for rulings they don’t like got a boost from Musk, who maxed out his political contributions to them.
With almost a full year to go. Watch for legislation to up the maximum contributions allowable.

The DOJ attorneys coming in to answer (or not answer) the judge’s questions in the deportation case better bring their toothbrushes with them to court. Just sayin’.

Judges have no way of holding out. We are screwed. A dictatorship has taken over America to the applause of those who call themselves freedom lovers and defenders of the Constitution. As predicted, fascism arrived in the US waiving the flag and holding the bible.

Trump is the product of a decades long effort to undermine Democracy. The Supreme Court’s decision to make Presidents kings should be understood in this context. The threats and attacks on the physical safety of American citizens who oppose Trump in the natural outcome of these decisions.
My guess is that Scalia and Thomas find the threats on their fellow judges regrettable. I also suspect their advice to those receiving death threats is to get on board if they want the threats to stop.

Yep, that is one of the things that really jumped out at me. My wife’s phone and my phone must contain enough info to send us to El Salvador.
Waiting for these court cases to wind their way through the system and somehow stop this coup is like trying to get rid of a termite infestation with a hammer.
