OK, but you have throw in huge chunks of Washington and Oregon, pieces of California, and Staten Island for good measure.
Actually, this is what you want:
Nice.
Another Southern state dominated with religious nutjobs that are sure they can poison the earth, abdure all scientific reasoning, and one day Jesus Christ will guaran-goddamned-teed save them from the shitpile they’ve stuffed their own heads into regardless.
Sadly true.
This is a pretty good summation of why I think 2025 is going to be a continuation of the dumpster on fire rushing downhill out of control, except faster, more out of control and perhaps losing at least one wheel.
Rudy G Faces A Reckoning
After dressing up as Santa Claus to promote his Rudy Coffee, Rudy Giuliani faces a contempt of court hearing Friday in the defamation case against him by Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. The judge is already signaling it may not go well for the former NYC mayor.
Dr Kitty should be wearing Pastor Kitty attire.
Perhaps. But you are overlooking the stupidity of people.
49.9% of the people voting voted for DJT.
Yeah, because infected people never travel in airplanes sitting next to you sneezing, and vaccines are always 100% effective at stopping transmission. Oh wait…
I’d love to see vax deniers die off too, if it wasn’t for that wee problem. Communicable disease means we’re all in this together.
Other states will follow suit. Mark it. I mean, can Mississippi or Alabama really avoid the temptation to abuse and kill their citizens?
I live in France but grew up and spent half my life in Oregon. The Oregon results are quite interesting. Spent a lot of my life in Clatsop county - probably the most beautiful county in the US, but I digress. It’s full of hunters, fishermen, and should have gone for Trump, but his ass got royally kicked there. Salem on the other hand should have gone for Harris, but OMG look at the results. Eugene and Portland and the suburbs? No surprise.
But the results on the coast make me wonder what has shifted. And FYI, Lincoln County is where the NYT recently reported the circulation by a law enforcement official circulated a flier about rounding up people of color. Here is the article:
And one still hears the worship lingo of Reaganites, as if he were fit to be canonized. He was another useful idiot for the oligarchs.
Don’t follow NFL football much anymore. But enough to make me laugh when bad things happen to Aaron Rodgers.
Trump Files Brief In TikTok Case At SCOTUS
As usual, follow the money. The entire purpose of delaying implementation is to allow the felon an opportunity to shop a ‘pardon’ to TikTok in return for a fat bribe.
The failed rescue mission didn’t help either.
Of course, that was back in the day when Republicans didn’t consider our troops to be suckers. (I think that’s Trump’s word for them.)
Depending on their level of anti-vaxx orthodoxy such people will, in the long term, experience shorter life expectancies, as a cohort of the populace. Evolution is an efficient mechanism. Animals that make erroneous decisions suffer for it. It’s why you don’t see herds of antelopes dancing around the open savannah, signaling to lions “Hey, we’re over here, just frolicking in the grass!! Are you hungry?”
Anti-vaxx people are asking pathogens if they’re hungry. And long term they’ll reap what they sow.
Nope, sorry, Carter was right in the Moscow boycott. NBC may have taken a hit, as they were set to broadcast the Games, but enough countries boycotted the Moscow Games for them to be considered a flop. Contrast that to the 1984 Los Angeles Games, which were considered a tremendous success. Sure, the Eastern Bloc countries were a no-show, but the People’s Republic of China came, as well as Romania.
I think it may be more about a vehicle that attracts the youngsters, and thus they need Tik Tok more than they need Fox News.
Carter also did the hard work of taking on the oil lobby and actually leading a fight to create a renewable energy future. The Biden comparison is a good one, both are/were technocrats who got successfully clowned by far-right snake oil salesman in part because they thought successful policy would be enough to win for them. Then they and their veeps lost, and the Overton Window lurched to the right.
