Personally, I think we ought to be pushing “Alligator Auschwitz”, not “Alcatraz.” This will not be a regular part of the US federal prison system where prisoners have rights (although probably rarely honored), and nobody will have a defined sentence – they’ll be there for as long as the First Felon’s whim of the moment dictates. Maybe forever.
