The Sunshine State was an alluring target for the Joe Biden campaign. With 29 electoral votes, Florida has a huge footprint on the electoral map. And unlike some other battleground states, it processes results quickly: A win there would have essentially ended the election in a few hours.
Florida cubans have never seen the wall. Experienced the separation. In cages. On the Mexican Border.
What paths are remaining?
Fox News called Florida for Trump already. Looks like they are not wrong.
And JFK refused to start WW3 for them at The Bay of Pigs. And then Bill Clinton and Janet Reno re-energized the blood feud by returning Elian Gonzalez to his father. Obama was able to neutralize the Cuban vote with the Orlando suburb Puerto Rican vote.
I don’t understand this headline. The New York Times had Trump a 95+% chance of winning Florida hours ago.
Looking at the remaining states my head says Trump is going to be reelected but my heart is in denial.

The disparity between pre-election polling and this result is something that needs to be seriously examined.
I’m okay with losing Florida – I’m not okay by losing it by that much.
Trump spent the whole campaign, going for the juglar. Biden put on his lid gloves, and went after Trump with a butter knife.
THis, more than anything, is what lost Biden so many Hispanic votes. The Latino community, for better or worse, is still heavily invested in the culture of machismo. So when Trump attacked, and Biden barely responded, the words used played a relatively small role in the message that was received…
