The rapid test is less sensitive in the sense that it requires a higher viral load to give a positive. It has been proposed that this actually makes it better, yielding fewer false positives, than the PCR, if the question is whether a person is infectious, capable of giving COVID to others. Unfortunately, this is still just a theory, because one of the many deficiencies in our response to COVID to date is that the two types of test have never been deployed together and within a coherent system that includes contact tracing that would enable us to judge precisely such questions.
So, it remains possible that Loeffler really has an infection in its early stage, when the rapid test isnāt sufficiently sensitive because the viral load isnāt high, and she might become symptomatic shortly. But it is also possible that she has already passed the peak viral load without developing symptoms, and is still PCR positive solely because of its sensitivity to small and innocuous viral loads, but rapid test negative because of the low viral load.

Just like Kim Jong Un, there is a set of body doubles for all the top folks, so as they keep dropping like flies, the doubles are being pressed into service to give the illusion that everything is still under control.

Again, weāre trying to preserve amity and comity at this site, so, please, keep the contents of the thoughts and prayers to yourselves. Also, please, no speculation on the outcome of that Judgment. That would be undignified.
