The novel coronavirus just isn’t so deadly! That’s the conclusion Fox News host Tucker Carlson came to in a monologue Tuesday night.
Why don’t you go volunteer in a COVID ward, Tucker?
I wish Tucker would drink some bleach… for science.
I’m feeling suicidal. Think I’ll watch some Fox TV from the roof and see what happens.
And you know the Viet Nam war wasn’t as deadly as they say.
“These are serious people who’ve done this for a living for decades,” Carlson said
How in the fuck would he recognize either of those things?
Somebody cough on this motherfucker.
Someone should ask Fox News why they haven’t packed back in to their nice building to all work nice and close together, since Covid-19 is a nothingberder.
I’m sure Cuomo would be happy to exempt them from the lockdown.
Carlson didn’t provide much in the way of evidence.
Let’s rephrase this. Did he produce any evidence at all?
Well 2 down hopefully more to come
Heh. 56,000 deaths in a couple of months, and that “isn’t that deadly.” Sure, Tucker.
Besides that, this ignorant premature postmortem reminds me of The Year 2000 frenzy about computers that had been coded to assume “1900” for all digits. The world was supposed to end; survivalists stocked up, and fled to the hills. But almost nothing happened, leading people to conclude that it was never any big deal. They didn’t know, and the media didn’t talk about, the thousands of geeks toiling behind the scenes to make sure all the systems had been prepared: retired, or patched, or code re-written.
Maybe I’m just crazy, but…

They’ll never give up - ever! That’ll be Trump’s campaign stump speech.
BTW a beautiful graphic. Chains around the US. “Give me liberty of give me death.”
You betcha! Vietnam caused about the same number of US combat deaths over a decade or so as this little flu thing has in a couple of months! No big deal.
So why isn’t the White House open to visitors? Why is Tucker Carlson not volunteering at nursing homes?
This requires a strong and unequivocal response from medical and science professionals either in the administration or outside of it. The narrative cannot be allowed to change by individuals like Tucker Carlson. He is a paid shill. The time for niceties is over. Use the opportunity to educate the population, or at least those who will listen and think. As for the others, well, tell them to go play with each other outside. Nature will take care of them.
Ah yes, the prejudicial reasoning of ‘false expectation’.
First - we tell everyone not to worry, hardly anyone will catch it.
Second - we finally come out with very high numbers to show we’re serious
Third - we ammend the numbers to show it’s not going to be ‘all that bad’
Finally - “We were right to begin with - hardly anyone caught it”
No you fuckers. Not this time. No gaslighting allowed
The Stoushing Irish
Hannity retained Charles Harder—a celebrity attorney famous from Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit that destroyed Gawker—to push for an apology and retraction from The New York Times over a series of columns critical of the pro-Trump host.
“We have reported fairly and accurately on Mr. Hannity,” a Times spokesperson told the Daily Beast on Monday evening. “There is no basis for a retraction or an apology.”
In a lengthy and bellicose demand letter sent to the Times’ general counsel and three columnists on Monday evening, Harder demanded that the paper pull down a series of stories for what the lawyer described as “mischaracterizing” Hannity’s coverage of the coronavirus pandemic.
Discovery will prove amusing.
It always amazes me the lengths to which these bastards will go to become and stay rich.
It’s just like sports talk radio. Quotable things that make the listener sound knowledgeable.
