Wife & I used to live in Tennessee. Note the past tense.
Have they done a fit test?
If not, Iād suggest it to be able to take full advantage of the protection. I was advised to not bother spending the $$ if I wasnāt going to make sure I was wearing them properly as theyāre only marginally better than surgical masks insofar as protecting the wearer.
This just popped up on Twitter for a Developer Conference in Atlanta coming up next month. Have to wonder if these protocols will become commonplace. (I hope so)
Houston ISD issues mask mandate for students, staff
OT: after the coast is clear and travelling is possible, this is something Iām going to do again, take an architectural tour of America.
They missed Buffalo. If you were to make this tour, Iād take a detour there. You will find some outstanding examples of Frank Loyd Wrightās residential architecture. One of his patrons, John Larkin, owned the Larkin Soap Company. One of its principals was the writer and philosopher, Elbert Hubbard, who later started the Arts and Craft inspired Roycrofters nearby. You can see the influence of the A&C on FLWās work. The red brick of the Larkin building is an example. You can thank Oscar Wild for that innovation but that is a long story and involves intrigue in the UK. Say no moreā¦
Larkin Building
FoxConn is converting one of those buildings into a semiconductor plant. Wisconsin just has to kick in $72 billion to get the ball rolling.
not surprised to see this. my kids are in school in brentwood which is williamson county. itās a far cry from our old school district on the west side of Boston.
"Many people who are hesitant to get vaccinated are also people who do not trust government authorities.ā - DeSantis spokesperson
If DeSantis was my governor, I certainly wouldnāt trust state government authorities.
OMFG! I need that shirt!
We attended a School board meeting the other day. The school board President was an ordained minister of something called the Universal Life Church. A mill for ordination, send them your name and address and I assume a check and they will send you a certificate of ordination.
To make a long story short they alotted a series of 3 min time frames for speakers. There was a fairly large group of some nutty supposed Christians off the deep end who took up most of the slots. Some of the craziest speakers I have heard. Needless to say the antimaskers won the day. I think the schoolboard President invited them to speak. Many of them did not live in the district.
Thereās that old libertarian saying that your freedom to swing your fist ends where my face begins.
Their freedom to spread potentially Covid-bearing aerosol particles also ends where my face begins.
Now when Iām swinging my fist, I can stop it short of someoneās face. But when I exhale, I canāt stop my aerosols from doing the same. Once I breathe them out, either Iām wearing a mask or theyāll be inhaled by nearby people.
So if the only way they can stop their potentially plague-bearing aerosols from reaching my face is by their wearing a mask, then theyād damn well better wear a mask.
well, duh!!! and kids love to wear masks, what about BATMAN etcā¦its scarey that parents would offer up their children to a rabid politician to enhance his egoā¦i simply do not understand these people, and iāve given up trying,
I guess whatever the reactionaries god is, it wasnāt satisfied with the old.
Now we gotta send it the young.
IMOā¦ these anti-people thnk the medical -care that was always available will 'always ā be there, until it isnātā¦medical facilities are strained to the breaking point, ie; Texas is asking for out-of -state health care workers to come to their aidā¦it aināt gonna happen.
Well I used to wear them to rob banks but everyone uses credit cards now so I took up surgery.
The Party against government overreach, is overreaching their states to death.
You mean mask MANDATE?
I think we need Clarence Darrow to go down to Tennessee and explain medicine now that most everyone believes in evolution.
