It clearly shows that they fundamentally don’t understand the gravity of the positions they hold. It’s all a zero-sum game to them. I win, you lose. They don’t view it as an institution to be respected and supported through good times and bad. It’s just a vehicle for their own personal enrichment.
They know that if the positions were reversed, they would be dancing in the streets, rubbing the Dems’ faces in it.

Man, I love it when the Stephanie Grishams of the administration say Trump is working, and his fierce concentration on the tasks at hand preclude any possibility of his paying attention to stuff like an impeachment debate, because what a workaholic, and then he tweets and makes them look like asses there I said it.
