I’d rather see him disbarred, but permanent retirement is good enough. It will be interesting to see if his conduct rises to the level of criminal activity and he is indicted by Fanni Willis or Jack Smith.

Crap, I was just going to hire him.

Does retiring now mean he can’t pop up again if he feels the coast is clear?

Hoping that Jack Smith is gonna butt-bongo Lin Wood and present him with the indictment he so richly deserves.

So does he have to turn in his license or can he un-retire in six months unscathed, as I’m sure he’s planning to do…?

Somewhat like, “You can’t fire me. I QUIT!”

I bet he is no longer welcome at Mar-a-Grifto, since he is no longer of any use for the Donald.

They should still disbar the fucker.

John Eastman, Sidney Powell et al. should be sweating.

Proceed anyway and make it impossible for him to make any kind of a “comeback.”

A side benefit of the various disbarment proceedings is that unearth evidence in public view that may be useful in the criminal proceedings by DOJ and Georgia. Edit: also in the disbarment proceedings of other clown car lawyers. When they duck those proceedings with a ‘plea deal’ (in this case retirement) the evidence doesn’t come to light.

“The State Bar of Georgia has agreed to drop the disciplinary cases against me in return for my agreement to take the status of RETIRED,” he wrote in a separate post on Telegram.

But has someone verified that this is true? Personally, I don’t take a word that man says as being true until authenticated.

He’s retiring as an agreement with the Bar to cease disciplinary actions. I would imagine any attempt to activate his license would reinstate any disciplinary proceedings.

Wood posted a letter on his Telegram channel in which he asked the Georgia bar to transfer him to retired status, while citing two disciplinary proceedings against him. Wood faces disciplinary proceedings for claims he made in several lawsuits alleging massive voter fraud, including for his involvement in Sidney Powell’s “Kraken” litigation.
… … … … …
As it should, lying can have consequences. So, when will we see L. Wood flipping burgers?
