Liberal Justices Hammer Alarm On What’s To Come For US Without Roe

Hillary was right, all of this was on the ballot in 2016, and the stay-at-home and third-party voters have gotten what they voted for.

They screamed “Bernie or BUST!” at the convention, remember? Well, enjoy the BUST!

I’m wondering if the reliable GOP women (40%-45% of all women voters), and perennial non-voters will show up in November to vote for Dems, but I sort of think this is already baked in. We shall see.

I’d deem this a bust.

It is as if a certain side has declared war on another.

Where else have I heard that recently? …oh yes here:

Yes, and those who are “too busy” will be the first to pay the price.

There simply is never an excuse for non-participation, and if we haven’t learned that now, the lessons will just keep coming.

Will the 18-30 cohort of eligible voters ever turn out to vote?

As long as he still gets his OfClarence, I reckon.

Roberts was always a company man. He’ll do what the masters (Federalist Society, in this case) want. Check out his “well, I would have done this more gradually, but f*ck it” concurrence.

“privacy in same-sex relationships” undersells it. At risk is privacy in any relationship. The only thing stopping an overzealous prosecutor in a state with sodomy laws from trolling through amateur pornography for anyone known to be in their jurisdiction in order to cite/arrest them for sodomy is Lawrence v. Texas (well, that and the willingness to take the heat from the public).

It’s as clear as day the right wing extremist Supreme Court supermajority is on a mission from “god” to revoke 100+ years of constitutional rights if they aren’t part of their own “religious” & political agenda.

It’s also as clear as day the Republican Party is gunning to attack our rights and freedom at all levels of government.

I wouldn’t mind a little of the Monty Python, “Stop groveling and averting your eyes!” either. Having this “unknowable” (yet personal) god on high leads to all kinds of dogmatism of the worst order.

As twisted and kinky as the pubic hair left on a Coke can…

Meanwhile folks, the “usual suspects” (aka “Deplorables”) are getting fired up.

Especially when some of these states, i.e. OK, have in their trigger laws that life begins at conception. And thus the zygote has more protections than the host.

It hadn’t occurred to me that there would even be an incel “take” on the abortion issue, but let me guess:

  • Attractive women owe me sex.
  • Attractive women are having sex with men who aren’t me.
  • Not being able to end an unwanted pregnancy is a fitting punishment for an attractive woman who won’t have sex with me.

I’m not claiming that this line of “argument” makes a lick of sense. If nothing else, the end of abortion rights should generally decrease how interested women of childbearing age are in having sex. An incel was, by definition, already low on women’s lists of men they’re interested in sleeping with, and that order isn’t going to change just because abortion is illegal.

But I think it captures the air of spitefulness that oozes off of them.

If you’d left some of the “fucks” out, you’d still be making a potent statement. As it is it’s nothing more than a rant neglecting the harm that will be done specifically to women.

Interesting that you blame “Bernie dead-enders”, as if we had anything to do with Trump carrying the ‘battleground states’ in the 2016 election. Why do you have such hatred and rage for Bernie? Or for those of us who supported and campaigned for him?

You got that right …
