Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski appeared on Fox News’ “MediaBuzz” Sunday to gripe about his Wednesday interview on CNN and to try to soften his bragging about not being honest with the media.
Oh please. You came in front of the House and decided to make it a circus. You told us you lied. WE know you lied. CLEARLY, you have been told to ‘fix’ this. However, blaming everyone BUT yourself is probably not the way to go. Too bad you decided to pick Donnie to emulate.
“I regret the fact that I should have probably explained it better and specifically as it related to my tenure in front of the special counsel, but I did that out of respect for the special counsel and the investigative process and at the advice of counsel so we didn’t spend countless hours answering these questions in the public while the investigation continued,” Lewandowski said, arguing that his remarks were taken out of context and only meant to refer to journalists’ questions about his interview with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
I’m a sw developer and after a few seconds I gave up trying to parse that statement.
So all the yelling that Quizno boi pulled a fast one on Dems maybe premature conclusion bc sure looks like ol’ Lew is feeling a little sore…
Well, it’s pretty simple. Everything Republicans say these days is a ridiculous fantasy that can only survive inside the bubble. None of it stands up factually or logically. The more time they spend inside the bubble, the less they have to deal with this. Lewandowski got dragged outside it and had his pants pulled down, and that’s that. This is why Republicans are retiring from office, why they hide from constituents, why they were shocked at the midterms, why they try to dismiss the legitimate media, why they do most of what they do. Most of all, Trump cannot survive outside the bubble. It’s not, to put it mildly, sustainable.
