Oral arguments on the Defense of Marriage Act next month could be a two-hour affair. On Wednesday, lawyers on both sides urged the Supreme Court to more than double the allotted time for oral arguments by holding separate, consecutive arguments on the two issues to be argued before the court, SCOTUSblog reports.
