Is this News Fox poll an indication that the voting electorate is waking up?
I surely hope so. Trump is so full of shit and it’s finally oozing out for all to see and smell!
Also read earlier another Fox News poll said 54 percent wanted Trump impeached and this poll wants him impeached and removed! Truly awesome!

Political science classes often talk about the concept of ‘legitimacy’. It’s bigger than winning a vote. It’s about whether you can get the acquiescence of the entire body politic to accept a position you take even if they don’t agree. The simplest understanding of it is accepting the peaceful transfer of power even when your side doesn’t win. The GOP never accepted the legitimacy of Clinton or Obama and that has led us to this painful, cold civil war over decades culminating in this Trump horror show. But here, the Dems are really doing something and they’ve proven the case over and over again so many times that even the GOP can’t deny that the Dems made a constitutional argument that they cannot deny. They can refuse to bend but they can’t argue that what we’ve done had no legitimate political basis. If Trump were to resign or be removed, for example, there would be no protests against it. People would accept it, move on and forget about Trump in about 4 weeks. We’ve proven that he’s not us. He’s a temporal figure.

The 3 appeals that the SC has agreed to hear Trump’s insane lawyers argue why he shouldn’t adhere to Congressional subpoenas and the criminal investigation the SDNY is pursing is guaranteed to be HUGE! Decisions are due the end of June 2020!

Not to worry, those will happen automatically with any or all of the other 3.
It will be an affront to justice if Trump isn’t obliterated by the legal system once he leaves office. But more importantly, the republic will not recover if Trump escapes punishment.
The GOP is filled with the venom of corruption, and Trump (typically) dispensed with the foreplay and stung the republic immediately. Now he will strangle the weakened republic to death, unless we can remove him first. But the venom is fatal, and the only antidote is made from the (political and legal) head of the beast. In this case, that’s Trump and his pals.
The rule of law won’t survive if people like Wilbur Ross and Scott Pruitt escape justice. They, and people like them, will continue to shop for the next pliant frat boy willing to gang-bang Columbia. She’s the only cop sworn to stop crooks from stealing in broad daylight, and there will always be another oligarch who sees a system of ordered liberty as merely an obstacle to a bigger jet.
Just work out a time with Bart & Squee (mark your calendar!), and they’ll make sure Lady Justice is otherwise occupied when you hit the bank.
It will never stop if she pretends it didn’t happen and goes back to walking her beat.
It will never stop if she has a bureaucrat send a bill to the guy’s accountant.
It will never stop if she doesn’t fight back.
It is not a coincidence that so many Trump administrators – and, now, Justices – are… rapey.
Trump has catalyzed the GOP’s strategy for political supremacy with his rape-based approach to… everything. And that’s the personal quality that rank-and-file Republican voters responded to: the Donald’s will-to-rape.
By nominating Trump, the Republican party settled on their new strategy: take whatever you want, now. And circle the wagons if anyone pushes back. Get in line, boys, it’s time to make America gag again.
Maybe this explains the dog-whistle/megaphone thing. Trump gave up the racism dog whistle because the GOP just agreed to switch to a new set of codes: rape codes. And liberals didn’t pick up on it as readily because we’re generally not down with rape culture. We couldn’t hear the new whistle. We thought they were giving the game away, but we didn’t realize the game was “take everything now.”
Which makes this Trump’s typically-flaccid version of what Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and others did to establish their regimes.

What amazes me is how the Republicans have manipulated the polls. The Fox News Poll is pretty standard. There have been a lot of polls like that, but every time an outlier comes out all the media trumpets to the roof top. The outliers always show strong support for impeachment and removal if not 50%, but the press trumpets that most Americans don’t want impeachment and removal.
