Sounds like she’s missing her bar stool and smokes…hopefully a casino will throw her a party and invite every like-minded fool to attend!

I’ll never visit Vegas with that idiot in charge.

How did this dipshit get elected? Aw, never mind. It’s Vegas.

and I know over the years, going back to the 1950s with the atomic bomb, ‘Don’t worry about more testing in Nevada. You’ll all be fine. Take a shower.'”

Not sure this was the best example.

Once again, Greed trumps public safety (pun intended).

“Wow. That’s really ignorant.”

With all due respect to Anderson Cooper, that’s really understating things.

Recall Goodman.

For one, she isn’t even in charge of the strip, so she can’t do anything other than try and score points with the Breitbart-QAnon crowd with this nonsense. Secondly, she seems like she has been drinking. I can’t believe that is a sober person of any responsibility being at best purposely obtuse, if not plainly stupid.

And I’m sure the satchels of unmarked bills arriving nightly at her home can in no way be connected to local casino owners.

She inherited the position from her husband.

She’s the wife of the (ex-mob lawyer) previous mayor.
So, yes.

One of my kids is a bartender in LV (not on the strip but in a sports bar North of downtown). Ironically she was about to give notice because she had grown tired of the job after 10 years (not that place which was good to the employees, but bartending in general) when everything closed so she can get unemployment. But that mayor’s attitude and ignorance is something she dealt with pretty regularly from many of the local barflies and is in large part what was driving her from the biz.
As far as Vegas goes, well at least the folks going to the big strip casinos are all locals who have a tremendous amount of respect for one another.
