LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles plans to file criminal charges over recent parties in the Hollywood Hills, held despite a city ban on large gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic.

As a resident of LA county, I completely support this…we can’t get past the virus simply because people keep interacting in ways that are unsafe and spread it around. Selfish people that refuse to behave are going to lead to more deaths until we decide to shut it all down again for a few weeks, or get some real leadership in the federal government that will take a hand nationwide to lead us through this.
Electing Biden and allowing science to handle the virus is really our only hope of lowering the final death count…it’s clear from last night that Republicans are just fine with 1000+ Americans dying each day. We’re going to hear more stories like @lizzymom put up about virus infections from the RNC…maybe a couple hundred sick people from last night will convince Republicans that this is actually a real thin.
I’ve been wondering why more areas don’t use the shut off the power and water to repeat offenders of public health rules.
More likely it will convince Republicans that it’s still a hoax, or a Democratic plot.
Or maybe they are the ones that didn’t truly have Trump in their hearts and rotting their brains.
