Thoughts of soccer have me wanting to take a nap. Nothing like sitting through 90 minutes of a sporting contest that ends in a 0-0 tie. Must be what it would look like if you tuned into a golf match and one of the players took 40 putts at the cup and failed to drop any of them, and then walked off the course.

People tend to call Sinema narcissistic but she is weirder than that. This all made me realize that she is in fact a pretty clear case of Borderline Personality Disorder. Democrats should reject her to the fullest extent possible and 10 to 1 says she would react by trying to do more things Democrats would want from her.

I’m not so sure Hartzler is that Christofascist. She’s not my Congresswoman, she’s in the next district over from mine. Been following her for over 10 yrs on FB, because she was back then just a normal Republican. She’s strong on the military because of Whiteman Air is in her sprawling district, which is pretty much the middle of Missouri. And because her district covers most of MO she has the flagship Missouri Unitversity-Columbia, and a bunch of Missouri state colleges sprinkled throughout.
Hartzler ran for retiring senator Blunt’s seat, and was taken out in the primary. Running for that senate seat meant she could run for her congressional seat. I think some of this posturing is trying to find place in her post congressional life.
ETA: I don’t remember her getting this overworked when Obergefell was decided in 2015.

Gore was stupidly trying to put distance between himself and Bill Clinton. Lots of things cost him that election because it ended up being so close, but running away from Clinton was definitely one of them.

The funniest thing after that was a website set up to keep calculating what the score would be if the game kept running. It eventually went offline, but not before getting to like 400k goals for Germany.
