The COVID-19 task force led by White House Senior Adviser and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner reportedly scrapped its plan for nationwide testing for COVID-19 at least partially due to an unwillingness to assist states that did not support Trump.
Now, that’s a face made for target practice.

Kushner’s team ultimately decided to thrust the responsibility of handling the testing shortage crisis upon individual states for political reasons in April, as blue states like New York bore the brunt of the pandemic at the time.

Trump went on to publicly blame the testing shortage on governors while denying any responsibility for the disaster.
Here I thought that we were all Americans, but it looks like Jared has proven the point that he and Trumpty Dumpty aren’t. Like we needed more proof. More fuel for the fire. The only good thing about this is that it has backfired spectacularly on them. There’s a lot of suffering everywhere now and lies piled on lies piled on lies only fool the gullible and the willfully ignorant.

It would be a long stretch, for a number of reasons.
But perhaps the biggest is because this is another example of the Trump’s exploiting “norms”. The idea that any Administration would stand by and let American citizens die in mass numbers, simply because they lived in a state with an opposition party governor was just too preposterous for anyone to consider legislating against.
But they did it, because there is never a bottom level with these people. Everything is always, 100%, “How can I make money on this and How can I personally benefit from this?”
Dumb question: I thought the Covid-19 task force was led by Pence. Or maybe there is more than one task force. I thought I was more or less paying attention, and I definitely wasn’t hanging out in France – What’d I miss?
