What is not discussed along with the comments of how well paid the NBA players are and how dumb of Ivanka’s buddy is, is that the countless other men from desperate lives who worked and tried to become NBA players and were left on the trash heap of colleges that gave them nothing for their entertainment value. Think about that. This story is tragic from start to end.

But let’s state this in plain terms. These are huge celebrities—their “platform,” so to speak, could not be higher or more prominent. And it’s personal, because many of them have been mistreated by racists. So they’re using their prominence to make a personal message they know will be heard: Stop murdering us. And this little punk says that’s just useless complaining, and you should do something more constructive about it. Because when serious problems are stated in plain terms, that’s Kryptonite for the Trump gang, it just poisons their world. Plain speaking is the enemy of lies and pretense, and lies and pretense are the trail of slime they travel on, slug-like. Wait until they really start crossing swords with Joe and Kamala. It won’t be the airplanes. It will be plain speaking that kills the beast.
