National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow — who asserted on cable news earlier this month that COVID-19 was “contained” — remains optimistic amid the coronavirus outbreak.
I’m not watching the Sunday morning shows, but is the White House also putting forward doctors and public health experts, or is it just the economic guys to reassure Wall Street?
I was going to post that we should all take pictures of the empty shelves and tweet them to Larry the Loser but he’s been off Twitter since March of 2018. But then again we could just Tweet them to his boss @realDonaldTrump.
Munchkin and Kudlow—Frick and Frack, Laurel and Hardy. Gary Cohn, loony Larry’s
predecessor, has said we are already in a recession. People will be able to eat I’d say, though there may be some exceptions to that??? Good lord.
I went to my local supermarket chain earlier today in outerborough NYC AOC’s district. It looked like it was picked clean before a storm or a developing nation that has shortages. Plenty of half empty shelves particularly in the paper products aisle with a warning notice on the shelves stating a purchase limit on paper towels and toilet paper. The fresh deli, meat and seafood sections seemed normal. They reduced their hours so they can do some overnight restocking. Strange how the right wing meme and warning about socialism and shortages happens under a obsequous Putin loving administration.
