I thought we already did that in 2017. You know, the tax cuts that would give needed relief to the middle class and hurt rich people like Donald J. Trump?

Because, when $1 trillion a year deficits aren’t enough, cut revenue more.

“You very may well see a new rollout of additional, additional middle-class tax relief and small-business tax relief,” he said. “There is nothing in the near term, that’s what the President was getting at. We believe the economy is quite healthy, we expect some relief on short-term interest rates coming up from the Fed and so forth. But longer run, why not?”

Super easy to propose, a little difficult for the racist in chief to deliver, except maybe to the very wealthy.

Quadrillions… should be interesting to see what the reaction will be when that number is bandied about when describing the national debt.

Beat me to it right out of the gate
I will now predict the future.
When a Democrat is elected in 2020 , deficits will become a HUGE problem.
You heard it here first
You’re welcome.

PS If I was looking for financial advice Kochsucker Larry Kudlow would be the last person I asked

Kudlow shouldn’t have said jack about a cut. ‘1600’ ait on the same page and they’re watching for the political version of Nelson Miles (Powell) to come save em from a self created ambush.

When Powell doesn’t, the newest and continuing crisis will be ‘45’ getting his Android out, because someone is again getting binned by a tweet.

Listen to what he says … do the opposite.

Of course, you know, that would be a huge surprise.

If I’m not mistaken this is the third reversal on this topic within the last week. What this tells me is that there is a battle for the president’s ear. Whoever talks to him last wins. One side didn’t get his ear and has to resort to the media.

This is a dangerous game Kudlow is playing, he had better know what he is doing.

Deficits are a tricky species. They follow the economic rule known as “Dick’s Law”, Which states deficits don’t matter while the GOP has power.

Anyone questioning Dick’s law can attend a hunting retreat with the law’s inventor, where I’m told they hold long, quiet lectures in the woods. BYO Shovel.

Not all of us knew details of the monster the first go around, but if he actually does run 2020, it will be absolutely, over the top painful to hear one thing he says. Most of us are clued into the non-stop lies and reversing messages constantly.
I am still hopeful there will be some reason he is not able to run.

He’s got hand too.

He offered those middle class tax cuts during a Congressional break before the 2018 elections when they couldn’t have been enacted if he actually wanted them.

Yeah, small business tax relief. Exxon, BP, Siemens, TRW, General Dynamics. Mom & Pop operations.

EXCELLENT… I did hear there were a few rich people and some corporations who have not gotten enough benefit from the last tax cut

New definition of ‘middle-class’ - people with over $10M in assets.

Republicans kind of only have one solution for everything…

Cancer? Tax Cuts!
Automobile Collisions? Tax Cuts!
Mass Shootings? Tax Cuts!

etc. etc.
