That move — accusing an enemy of an act that you are about to or have committed

The projection seems familiar.

It’s a trolling, bizarro-world, ex post facto echo of the U.S. claims about weapons of mass destruction that were never found in Iraq. But after weeks of war in Ukraine without a smidgen of a causus belli, the Kremlin appears to have seized on a fantasy that may appeal to germaphobes and American conservatives alike: birds, and the biolaboratories supposedly devoted to weaponizing them

Birds aren’t real
Think I am joking?

Birds are really drones.

In 2017, Putin himself remarked that the “U.S. has always interfered in Russia’s elections.”

I believe that this is another dig at Hillary interfering in Russian elections in 2011, something along the lines of Hillary paid the Russian people to protest against Vlad.

Who do you think the Republicans stole it from?

It must be true. How else can you explain this?

Starting in Iowa to ruin thanksgiving. I bet @castor_troy is behind it.

Indeed, and readily generalizable; i.e., any accusation from an authoritarian is probably a confession of what they will do or have already done.

Am I the only one who seems to have noticed he keeps trying every excuse given for our invasion of Iraq and then being surprised they don’t work as well as they did for us?

Unsurprisingly, russia and the gop both follow the same playbook. ‘Here’s the lie we’re spouting to justify the evil we’re about to commit. You won’t believe what we say, and of course we don’t believe it either. But the evil we’re gonna do, that you can believe.’

“[The chemical weapons] are in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south, and north somewhat… I would also add, we saw from the air that there were dozens of trucks that went into that facility after the existence of it became public in the press and they moved things out. They dispersed them and took them away.”

Putin has clearly learned and taken a page from Trumpy’s playbook. Just throw out the BS and see what sticks. iPhone recordings will be his downfall.

Just another reminder that by all rights war criminals Shrubya, Darth Cheney, Condiliar Rice et al. should be quietly living out the remainder of their natural lives in prison.

Nonsense. I’ve been on a yacht off of Montenegro, just had to go silent for a bit because all these F-16s keep buzzing my new ship.
