I can’t see it either but there are parts of Georgia that make “red” as in the red of the GOP look like the red of seriously liberal socialist commies. That’s how far rightward they are. Her district is west and north of Atlanta. They voted for her. She reflects them.
I have a cousin who lives east of Atlanta in Athens which is a “Liberal bastion” as that’s where the U of Georgia is. And we all know (don’t we sez this old prof) that universities are full a them pinko types. An facts have that liberal bias.

Bauhaus architecture (and the International Style in general) was created for German worker housing, built on the cheap in the Weimar Republic, which was broke.
Seven foot ceilings, no trim or molding, blank windows, featureless hallways—all soul-crushing and depressing.
It almost makes Albert Speer’s architectural masturbation appealing.

Yes hon, I know. I remember seeing photos of the interior at some World Exhibition and it was so grim. An amalgamation of Dickensian greyness and grimness, but without the squalor.

I don’t know what prompted me to wet a sponge (sopping wet), but as soon as I did, the bird landed on my finger to drink from the sponge.

That works for trapped wasps, too. Roll up a piece of newspaper, wet the looser end and place it over the wasp (who is probably crawling on a window). The wasp is probably thirsty and will latch on to the paper, and you can take it outside while it refreshes itself.
