Kinzinger: Jan. 6 Committee ‘Fully’ Expects Giuliani’s Cooperation Amid Reported Talks | Talking Points Memo

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), who serves on the Jan. 6 Select Committee, on Sunday said that the panel “fully” expects Rudy Giuliani to comply with its subpoena. Kinzinger’s remarks come a day after the New York Times reported that Giuliani is in talks with the committee to testify.

Now that TFG has no further use for him, Rudy has to weigh how much of the rest of his natural life he wants to spend in prison.

Rudy is well aware that Trump abandoned him a long time ago. If there was ever a time for Rudy to rehabilitate himself it would be to spill the beans on his so-called client. I will believe it if it happens but it is an interesting development.

If ruddy gerbils does cooperate and testify, what does that do meadowmuffins’ et al claims of executive privilege?

This should be done behind closed doors and under oath. If he wants to take the 5th, let him. I’m sure he’ll say something just because he can’t seem to help himself. Ask him a question, let him answer, then bring out the other evidence they likely already have and ask him it again. Good times!

Can’t wait for his gaseous emissions.

Meanwhile, down in Florida, Melania is being best once again…

He is 77 -his natural life is fading fast. If he wants to go out with some dignity left, he should do the right thing.

Bring out a pitcher of bloody marys, pass it around the room such that every questioner has a glass and ghoulsie gets nothing. He’ll crack in 30 minutes.

It comes down to common sense. In spite of his checkered past, America on 9-11 made him America’s mayor.

This may be equally about payback for the guy who refused to pay Rudy’s invoices for legal services.

Ruddy gave up on dignity long ago.

Show me where Trump ever paid Rudy to be his lawyer.

Possibly, but he’ll need an airtight immunity deal if he has criminal exposure for a conspiracy charge. Otherwise he’ll just plead the 5th to every question. Will the committee go that far?

Rudy has what my mother used to call diarrhea of the mouth. If he sits down for questions, of course he’ll talk…and talk…and talk. The real issue is: will any of it be comprehensible?

It would take an extraordinary amount of courage for Jailiani to do a 180 after years of lying (both for Trump and for himself).

Yet, I believe that it would be a very smart play for him.

It probably would require attributes Jailiani does not have or had and lost.

I think he will listen to his lawyers on this and stay quiet if the lawyers tell him to do so.

So you’re saying he went straight to member of the crime family??
