Whether its because of Trump’s targeting or redistricting doesn’t matter, TFG can claim another scalp from a never Trumper. It’s really sickening to see the grifter and con artist continue to bend reality to his distortions. Not only will he not face consequences for his actions, he will be rewarded with another term in 2024.

Me too. Bowing out is conceding the race to the insanity caucus, that’s not fighting for any principles. Courage would be loudly repudiating the RRR Party and declaring it hopelessly corrupt, then standing for election as an independent. The voters saw him as a good man for the job once, so test whether they still think he is, or are overtaken by lies. It’s not as if he has another career that he’s neglecting, it’ll only spend other peoples’ money and some of his own time, but it’d be very worthwhile to make the point, and doing so would distinguish him, opening up a lot of possibilities for him that will never be available if he slinks away with his tail between his legs. Then he can leave electoral politics and apply himself to helping preserve democracy thru other channels, there would be many opportunities.
