This one is actually a couple of months old, but now that what Josh is calling “the great moonwalking” is underway, it seems worth a refresh:

Always trying to work the ref. Most predictable thing ever.

What are the safety-COVID protocols protecting our next President from the COVID-ridden Trump?? Sorry…what took place with the VP debate is entirely unsatisfactory

Seems that this is not spelled out adequately and, in fact, too casually.

Kilmeade said. “How does she get picked to be the moderator at this debate? It’s incredible.”

I mean, yeah, who in the F ever agreed to this? Wait, the Trump campaign did? Oh…

Translation: they know he’s going to get his ass kicked. Low confidence. No backing. Sad.

Yes, they’re pre-gaming the refs.

But, really, what F&F is doing, as they do every morning, is serve as a three-member TeeVee babysitter for the Toddler-in-Chief: they have an audience of One.

Meantime, Rupert (and most of the slimeball GOP) are backing away from Donald as fast as they can (see Josh on “The Great Moonwalk”).

Not only is COVID contagious, sour grapes are too.

TPM has done a poor job of keeping the debate protocols clear.

We know what happened in Debate One. Then we have a ruling (?) that Debate Two should be remote.

Then all hell breaks loose with these Town Halls…separate, to be sure, but not addressing anything about the Debate Three.

  • What are the protocols?
  • Is it remote?
  • Why not?
  • Why and How does Trump manage to get his fat ass within COVID INFECTING DISTANCE of Joe Biden?
  • By acting like a spoiled brat?

What’s UP?

He wants something along the lines of the famously “tough but fair” question, “Mr. Burns, your campaign has the momentum of a runaway freight train. What makes you so popular?” And even that he’d screw up. I think you could ask him that kind of thing for two hours and not once get a rational, plausible answer out of him. The arguments in his favor just aren’t there.

That’s on the debate commission, not TPM. Can’t report protocols that the commission hasn’t announced.

From Wikipedia:

Trump registered as a Republican in Manhattan in 1987 and since that time has changed his party affiliation five times. In 1999, Trump changed his party affiliation to the Independence Party of New York. In August 2001, Trump changed his party affiliation to Democratic. In September 2009, Trump changed his party affiliation back to the Republican Party. In December 2011, Trump changed to “no party affiliation” (independent). In April 2012, Trump again returned to the Republican Party.[4]

In a 2004 interview, Trump told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer: “In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat,” explaining: "It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans.

They had better. I don’t want those commission fuckers to use Joe’s natural instincts for retail politics make him ignore the fact that he and Trump should be hermetically sealed from each other

Uh oh. That might cause someone to quit abruptly and without thinking it through … again.

And that’s fine. As far as I’m concerned he can leave in a huff. And if that’s too soon, he can leave in a minute and a huff. (thanks again for inspiration, Groucho)

Kilmeade jumped on the Trumpworld’s Welker-bashing bandwagon on Monday morning. After criticizing topics for the debate that were selected by Welker as the moderator, Kilmeade tore into her for being “a registered Democrat before.”

I’m just going to keep asking the question…How does this help him with anyone who wasn’t already set to walk over broken glass to vote for Trump? Welker is a smart, respectful professional who always comes across as just doing her job. And she’s a woman of color. Again, how does this help him with anyone who wasn’t already going to vote for him?

Brian Kilmeade should pull his head out of his ass. . . he is suffering oxygen deprivation.
