Kennedy To File Legislation That’s Thinly-Veiled Jab At Bidens

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) plans to file legislation when Congress reconvenes to ban immediate family members of senior U.S. officials from profiting off Ukraine — a thinly veiled jab at Joe and Hunter Biden.

How Micronesia gets overlooked is a mystery. Chelsea Clinton made a $4 billion dollar haul out of there.

In other good news, Zuckerberg is boosting Warren’s support. I don’t think that was his plan.

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg told employees he’s ready to “go to the mat and … fight” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and other politicians who have called for big tech companies to be broken up, and predicted the social media giant will prevail even if Warren wins the presidency in 2020.

"My bill will remove any appearance of impropriety or potential conflict of interest for any immediate family member of a senior United States official. The best way to resist temptation is a proper upbringing, a strong set of values and tough laws.”

So…how many Chinese patents does this bill allow a President’s daughter to pocket?

(Asking for an Emoluments Clause.)

Some Dem senator needs to do exactly that. You wanna be a cute, gummy mouth? We can be cute too.

Well, now we have ONE MORE REPUBLICAN SENATOR to investigate.

After all, we all know that Republicans from Louisiana are all squeakly-clean don’t we (Vitter - cough - Vitter)
and would never, EVER engage in any sordid or salacious activities.

It is quite clear who is marshaling their lackeys to defend Trump at all costs: The Oil Industry.

This loser just had to surface, didn’t he?

If the House were to take up this bill, they ought to add Saudi Arabia to the list.

(On a more serious note, does Kennedy expect this to be anything more than a political sideshow? Is Ukraine the only country in the bill? Would anyone expect a bill like this to be passed? A general anti-corruption bill covering, I don’t know, all countries might make some sense (though probably largely impracticable). But obviously, this bill is just nonsense.)

Sounds like sanctions against Ukraine, our ally, possibly in a continuing effort to extort them into helping Republicans in 2020.

But there’s this too, antitode to the Zuckerbergs of the world.

And please, let’s include every country where there is a Trump Hotel and/or golf course.

I know, right? This is such an obvious dumbfuck move by any ally of the Trump Family Inc. Not to mention, hello Elaine Chao.

I’d expect there to be an easy out with shell companies and spouses, but that could be easily addressed as well, I’m sure.

“Specifically, his bill will ban an immediate family member of a member of the Senate, the House, the president’s Cabinet, the vice president and/or the president from serving as a consultant, employee, independent contractor or board member for or owning 5 percent or more in any entity doing business in or with Ukraine,”

If this is meant to troll Biden, it, instead, puts the spotlight directly on Trump family corruption. Is Kennedy this dumb or is he deliberately undermining mafia Don?
