Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) insisted during an interview on “The View” yesterday
I’m sorry, on WHAT. I don’t watch The View, but why the fuck was this spineless POS invited on their show for anything other than a verbal lashing? Unreal the leeway even the “Liberal Media” gives these fascists.
Lock this POS in a cell with someone reading Aesop’s “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” being played at about 120 decibels on a continuous loop until he goes stark raving mad and then keep playing it. Son of a god-damn bitch, this pile of garbage.
Can’t help wondering if Crist’s excellent performance (and DeSantis’s miserable one) would have been more effective if it had been held earlier. Effective as in made an impression and changed more minds. Not sure anything would change the outcome.
Larry for PM. Sure, he’s a stone cold killer who places little to no value on human life that isn’t giving him food, scritchings, or changing his litter, but he does his job reliably, and he’s more charismatic than anyone in the British Government since Princess Di.
Idiot… yes. Asshole, POS, etc. Many mad lib options here.
Yes.
Sure we can question what she sees in him and deduce that there must be some character flaws that makes it make sense.
My guess, she sold her soul to the devil in exchange for a good job and a power marriage to someone powerful like a US Senator, someone that might run for president someday… and the devil loves to play that shit.
Like when Mitch sold his soul for power and “to live long like a tortoise” … Well played Mr Devil…
Alito can’t wait for Moore v. Harper were he and his fellow Sleazy Six will uphold the Independent State Legislature thesis that will allow legislatures to overturn election results.
It is so infuriating to watch confirmation hearings where the SCOTUS nominee coyly demurs when asked legitimate questions about their position on various topics. Then the questioner backs off when scolded about the nominee’s “inability” to answer the question.
We know that Leonard Leo’s protégés speak in code, “ It is settled law.” “ I respect precedent.” “Blah, blah activist judges.”. Surely there is a way to probe beyond their well- rehearsed and meaningless responses. Quote their own speeches and writings and have them explain how they have not already prejudged potential cases they would hear.
It is only getting worse as seen with Amy Barrett who is young enough to have virtually no experience as a judge and thus, no body of work to review. The usual response to how to remedy this mess is that we need to vote. Is fighting to vote in heavily gerrymandered states with Secretaries of State who run on overturning elections they don’t like the best we have to look forward to? Vote ‘em out gets more and more difficult with each election. Who ever thought we’d be facing masked, armed guards just to drop a ballot in a ballot box?
For the first time in my life, I will vote and then turn off the TV. Watching our Democracy die has become unbearable.
And if policy decisions were made via placing out two treats and assigning a policy position based on which one he went for first, would still be vastly better management than everything up to and including going for Brexit.
