He knows he is on the wrong side, and hopes people forget he is on the wrong side. Not talking about it is his best hope that everybody will forget he has made a fool of himself.

Lying sack of shit Kennedy is, as he knows, not entitled to his own “facts”. He will continue to dissemble and be dishonest about that. It is not possible for a Republican to do otherwise. Scorpions and frogs etc.

Well… it looks as if the republicans finally decided that the Ukraine conspiracy ain’t gonna fly. It was Putin’s plan - and a pretty good one - if they had pulled it off. Vlad miscalculated the stupidity of trump and his cabal.
Let’s see… they’ve tried, “the secret hearings are unfair”, so the Democrats made them public. They tried, “trump is not represented”, and the Democrats invited him and his lawyers. They’ve tried Putin’s idea - blame everything on Ukraine, and they weren’t able to pull that off. Looks like they’ve settled on, “Yeah, he did it, But it’s not impeachable”. I guess we’ll see how that works out for them.

True, which is also an indicator of the Russian’s sophistication or lack of it. Still, he created quite a mess that will affect things for years to come. But it is not a death blow.

When all is said and done, Putin will agree that this experiment succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. He’s gotten trump to piss off our allies, start to dismantle NATO, severely weaken our trading position, get out of his way in Syria and Turkey, allow the Saudi’s to murder a US resident w/o a response, and the list goes on and on. Vlad is happy with the results.

It all depends on what comes after all this mess. We have learned a lot of lessons about who we are and what our systems can and can’t do. I would lay odds on Putin actually making a serious mistake in the long run.
I’ve had the hearing on today and I have found I just cannot listen to this anymore. Picture on but sound off. Otherwise I’ll end up throwing something heavy at my TV.
The only thing less impressive than the Republicans is most of the media.
