Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway backed up Trump’s decision to use tear gas to disperse protesters for a photo op in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church Monday night, and lashed out at the congregation’s bishop, who sharply criticized the move.

It’s a good thing this photo op is blowing up in their faces…the White House sent out a video of the “walk to the church”, making it seem like a heroic event instead of the travesty that it was. Their entire point was to make Trump look strong, and it’s actually hopeful that the press is tearing their attempt to shreds. We need the press to be very strong and hold Trump accountable for the next six months, not fall into the horse race reporting of the election…this is no longer the standard presidential race, it’s a competition for the soul of the United States.
Her president questioned Speaker Pelosi’s expression of faith, at the National Prayer Breakfast. But Kellyann would find a way to twist that into an act of courage. Sad!

Small matter in the scheme of things, but telling: I remember Trump lumbering along heavily in real time yesterday. But in the video he seems to be striding along briskly. And anyone in the video world could tell at a glance the fuckers sped up the video to make him seem vigorous and masterful.
