Keeping The Real Speaker In The Loop

Despite what the Freedom Caucus claimed in its press conference this afternoon, there are a variety of factors behind House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-CA) announcement today that he would direct House committees to open a bogus impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

I keep thinking that we would be living in a far far better world if only one sensible Secret Service agent armed with a pillow had performed a late-night service in the White House.

“The case for a Cuomo Presidential Campaign”

No, not Nathalie Cuomo the talented comedian (no relation), Andrew the ahole.

“Is former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo ready for another run at elective office? Democrats may need a well-known pol to do a dirty job—or at least an awkward one—and Mr. Cuomo could be just the guy to do it.”

I swear to dog these lizard people are getting worse by the minute. Borowitz is getting a TBI from smashing his head on the desk and The Onion has given up on satire.

If it’s any consolation, I’m sure they truly regret it now. No, I know - no consolation.

A Presidential candidate colluding with his confederates in the government to interfere with an election?

Now that McCarthy has directed House committees to open an inquiry, Politico is reporting that Trump has not exactly been on the sidelines here. The former president has reportedly been in private talks about a Biden impeachment with a few House Republicans, including loyalist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), as recently as Sunday. He’s also been talking to House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) today.

Of course Trump and the Republicans wouldn’t do such a thing. /s

Does this also include requests for bank records, documents from Biden’s time as VP, etc?

It’s the scam and sham shitshow brought to you by the weakest, dumbest and most obsequious asshole Congress has ever known. Frankly he’s the only one in his party that actually wants that thankless job as Speaker, so its not like any of them actually want to replace him if they manage to fire him. There’s no one on deck or even in the dugout that wants his job from his party. These pukes just like getting a paycheck by doing a whole lot of nothing, complaining about a whole lot of everything and getting a six-figure pay day for barely doing even the absolute minimum requirement at their jobs. Fuck, they can’t even manage to pass a budget. They all stink of incompetence.

On Sunday night, Trump had dinner at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J., with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

She left a large tip after paying.

Not sure McCarthy “secured” anything.
