Alexander Mayorkas is eminently qualified to lead the rudderless department, but objections over policy have delayed his confirmation.

And it was never time to think twice or even once about the many deaths from COVID.

I believe this is called Extortion? But yes, we should be bipartisan.

Big talk from a cowardly turtle.

And, no, censure is not an option. All or nothing.

Riiiight. Inciting insurrection in which five people died is the same as lying about a consensual blowjob. Do not give Republicans an offramp - they have to own their vote or nothing will change.

Senator Concerned said that Trump “had learned a pretty big lesson” from being impeached the first time.

Perhaps she could explain what being censured will teach him.

Who the hell does he think he’s scaring with this shit? Who’s the audience here?

Conviction or bust. Let the GOP own their Trump problem. He’ll destroy them for the 2022 midterms and the 2024 elections.

The thing about the Senate sitting through the trial is that evidence is presented, Trump has a chance to send lawyers to refute, and the American public get to hear what the hell happened.
And again as more info comes out then Republicans who didn’t vote to convict should be, should be in deep shit with voters. Because if after evidence is presented and the public gets to hear it, and they don’t act then they’re not acting for the country, but for Trump.

It’s not just about policy. It’s about him BEING an immigrant and BEING Hispanic. The only thing keeping Haw3ley from wearing his white robe and hood to the Senate floor is that he’s a fucking coward.

Hey, remember when the Union attacked the Confederacy with a sternly-worded censure after Fort Sumter?

Yeah, me neither.

Of course you do, Suzie. After all, you think he’s learned his lesson this time.

Moreover, if you attach your mammaries to a boar, you’ve reached the ideal outcome as far as you’re “concerned.” Very useful, you.

Should that have been bloviate? Tap dance?
Is it my imagination but didn’t Trump tweet at his defense team during his first impeachment trial, like as it was being conducted?

He’s learned his lesson this time, for sure.
