Kacsmaryk Cites ‘Gays Against Groomers’ In Decision Calling Drag Show Unfit For Children

It is well known that things are bigger in Texas, including hypocrisy, but I have it from trusty Texan sources that West Texans are the worst hypocrites of all, they abhorred them at the UT and UTEP campuses.

Maybe Randy Rainbow will come up with one of his great parodies.

Something something shoving things down my throat, I’m guessing.

The most adamant of these so-called moral beacons are the most self-loathing.

Shouldn’t parents decide what’s appropriate for their kids? Or are we back to the “nanny state?”

And why do I get the feeling that despite all the talk about “children”, the goal of these people is to shut down all drag shows?

Wendler, in a letter nixing the planned drag show, compared the performance to “blackface” minstrelsy.

“As a university president, I would not support ‘blackface’ performances on our campus, even if told the performance is a form of free speech or intended as humor,” Wendler wrote. “It is wrong. I do not support any show, performance or artistic expression which denigrates others — in this case, women — for any reason.”

Wait… now sex is not covered by the 1st amendment? What’s next? …voting for someone other than a GOPer? Teaching reproductive physiology to medical students?

I wonder if Judge Kacsmaryk has any feelings about Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, or John Leguizamo?

It a move on Drag Story times. And isn’t this a college campus? Where are the children?
Back in the day if you were male, 18 y/o, you could be drafted, but Kacsmaryk won’t let them see a drag show now?

Oh, I’m a lumberjack federal judge and I’m OK,
I sleep all night and I work all day…

This judge works in the world of wealthy religious idealogues. These are the fruits of his labor: hateful lies so pathetic, so repellent, they beg the question.

WTF ?

Is the good Judge going to ban teen or pre-teen beauty pageants in Texas?

Surely they are sexualization and grooming of minors.

But it’s okay, because evangelical parents are free to make these decisions for everyone else’s children too

This may be a cheap shot, but doesn’t Judge Kacsmaryk wear a dress/robe while he’s at work? At part of the time. Would this be considered drag?

With or without the stiletto heels?

It is stuff like this that makes it feel unsettled when I find myself rooting for the Mouse (re DeSantis & FL e.g.)

When I was in high school 1963-65, our male principal used to dress up like a cheer leader, skirt, wig, pompoms and lead pep rallies in the auditorium. Not a single complaint from any parent. Everybody thought it was a hoot. Good times.
